Software Engineering Manager, Geo

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage an Engineering team within Geo, focusing on ensuring the best user experience.
• Set clear expectations and align team goals with broader organizational objectives.
• Develop technical goals and roadmaps, evolving them to meet future requirements.
• Design and vet system designs, writing code to solve complex problems.
• Review code from other engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role with 2 years in people management.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Knowledge of front-end development and Android/iOS development.
