Software Engineering Manager, Cloud Observability and Alerting

This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a strong engineering team to build alerting products.
• Develop Service Level Objective (SLO) monitoring and application-centric observability.
• Collaborate with product managers to define team goals and strategy.
• Design systems and write product or system development code.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience in observability and managing Cloud systems.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years in a people management role.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Experience with infrastructure development and collaboration with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams.
