Software Engineer, Virtual Storage

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain product or system development code for core Google Compute Engine storage connectivity features.
• Partner closely with teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Design and implement solutions utilizing APIs for high-performance network storage.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience in Storage and Virtualization technologies.
