Software Engineer, Virtual Storage (Mandarin, English)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain robust product or system development code for core Google Compute Engine storage connectivity features.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in collaboration with storage teams.
• Design and implement solutions utilizing APIs for high-performance network storage.
• Triage product or system issues and debug by analyzing sources of issues.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• Experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience in storage and virtualization technologies.
