Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS), Google Photos

This role is based in Los Angeles, CA or Mountain View, CA, focusing on developing mobile applications for Google Photos.

Compensation:

$166,000-$244,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
• 3 years of experience with iOS application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• Experience with AVFoundation for high-performance video playback.
