Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop Snapseed Android as a leading image editing application.
  • Act with autonomy similar to a startup founder, moving quickly with limited oversight.
  • Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Contribute to documentation and adapt based on user feedback.
  • Triage and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their sources.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in Android application development.
  • 2 years of experience in software development with one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 3 years of experience with Java, Kotlin, and Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience testing and launching software products, and with software design and architecture.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
