This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Own projects end-to-end from initial idea to design, analysis, and implementation.
  • Collect, analyze and visualize data from various sources to formulate and test hypotheses.
  • Design and implement Machine Learning (ML) systems from training data composition to hyperparameter tuning to post-deployment monitoring and optimizations.
  • Understand and build upon latest technologies such as Gemini foundational models using distillation and fine-tuning.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Python and C++ programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or in a related ML field.
  • 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 1 year experience in full-cycle development and productionization of Machine Learning systems.
  • Experience in distilling and deploying production-grade Large Language Model (LLMs).
