Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Build the next evolution of the search user experience in Google Photos.
  • Modernize a legacy codebase into well-factored Swift design.
  • Build prototypes to validate new ideas.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, data analysts, and QA.
  • Utilize AI tooling to enhance productivity while ensuring quality output.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with Swift or SwiftUI.
  • 2 years of experience in iOS application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2 years of experience with Objective-C.
  • Experience with large-scale consumer applications and optimizing iOS performance.
  • Experience migrating legacy codebases to modern frameworks.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
