Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product or system code.
  • Analyze and resolve product or system issues by debugging, tracking and assessing impact on hardware, network and service operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build and deploy new features in Photos iOS application.
  • Build user-facing features for Google Photos iOS.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics from launches and experiments.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 2 years of experience with iOS application development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience with the Swift programming language.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
  • Experience in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution and software test engineering.
