Software Engineer III, Mobile (Android), Google Workspace

This role is based in New York, NY.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a software engineer, you will work on projects critical to Google’s needs, managing project priorities and deliverables. You will be involved in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on code developed by peers.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience programming in Java or Kotlin.
• 2 years of experience in Android application development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, or debugging.
• Proficiency in software test engineering.
