Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain features across the Google TV launcher and the server-side platform.
  • Build and optimize UI components for the Google TV home screen.
  • Write high-quality code primarily in Kotlin, while maintaining and interfacing with existing Java codebases.
  • Develop and scale backend services and APIs that power business generation and content discovery.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and other Google TV teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in Java.
  • Experience with additional programming languages (e.g., C++, Go, Python).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Full-stack development experience, including Android and server-side engineering.
  • Familiarity with Ads technologies or business generation platforms.
  • Experience writing code in Kotlin and working with SQL.
