Software Engineer II, Infrastructure, Search Ads

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code and participate in design reviews.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
• Own projects from initial idea to implementation.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in programming languages like Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript.
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of experience building large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with information retrieval and search quality.
• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems.
