Software Engineer II, Full Stack, Sustainable Journeys

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.

Responsibilities:

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Work with a team dedicated to sustainability in Real World Journeys.
  • Work across multiple products and components, and with multiple levels of the stack. Most backends/pipelines are written in C++/Java.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines responsible for ingesting and processing data.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Javascript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end and front-end technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Knowledge of Aviation Industry/GHG Reporting.
