Software Engineer II, Change Tracked Metadata

This role is based in Zürich, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
- Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Boq/Pod, Spanner, Bigtable, and Flume.
- Experience in agile environments and delivering results with urgency.
- Experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale systems.
- Understanding of large-scale architecture design and implementation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries.
