Responsibilities:

  • Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
  • Write product or system development code and review code from other developers.
  • Create a cross-cloud data analytics product while collaborating with executive software engineers and Product Manager leads.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience with Google Cloud Infrastructure's compute, storage, and networking services.
  • 1 year of experience architecting and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience with open source systems like Apache Iceberg, Spark, etc.
  • 1 year of experience in working with partners like SAP, Salesforce.
  • 1 year of experience with distributed data processing, building infrastructure.
