Software Engineer, Android Core Networking

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Make networking faster by integrating protocols like HTTP and QUIC.
• Implement networking technologies such as DNS-over-HTTPS and IPsec.
• Expand stack capabilities in areas like HTTP/3 and peer-to-peer connectivity.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of software development experience in languages like Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++.
• Experience in networking protocols.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in designing and analyzing networking protocols.
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel networking stack.
