Software Engineer, Android Core Networking

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Make networking faster by improving integration between protocols and optimizing performance.
• Implement networking technologies and expand stack capabilities in collaboration with other teams.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of software development experience in programming languages like Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++.
• Experience in networking protocols.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in designing and analyzing networking protocols.
• Knowledge of the Linux kernel networking stack.
