This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada or San Jose, CA, USA.
Compensation:
Canada: $100,000 - $200,000 (CAD) + bonus + equity + benefits; US: $147,000 - $211,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Create user-centric experiences and foundational platform components for Android glasses.
- Design and implement UI services for seamless functionality across glasses hardware.
- Enhance interaction methodologies for augmented reality.
- Collaborate with User Experience and Product Management teams to translate user needs into prototypes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in Kotlin.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Java or other mobile app development languages/frameworks.
- Knowledge of Android apps and mobile development.
- Ability to learn new coding languages as needed.
