Site Reliability Engineering Manager, Google Photos

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Site Reliability Engineers, guiding their professional development.
• Manage the end-to-end availability, latency, performance, and efficiency of services.
• Develop and execute the goal and strategy for the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team.
• Perform, manage and improve on-call rotations across multiple continents.
• Design, write and deliver software to enhance the availability and efficiency of Google's services.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience in distributed systems design and troubleshooting.
• 3 years of experience managing teams.
• 3 years of experience leading projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
