Senior UX Designer, Google One, Google Photos

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Drive UX design for key sharing flows and establish partnerships with third-party apps.
• Translate user needs into compelling designs through user journeys, storyboards, low/high-fidelity mockups, detailed interaction specifications, and interactive prototypes.
• Collaborate with Google Photos and other Google Product teams across time zones to develop innovative solutions.
• Simplify complex concepts into clear and relatable narratives that represent real user experiences.
• Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in product design or User Experience (UX).
• 4 years of experience interacting with clients/leadership and owning projects.
• Experience in designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in designing for consumer-facing products.
• Experience with motion design and quick prototyping.
• Knowledge of technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence product design strategy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and visual design skills.
