Senior Staff Software Engineer, iOS

This role is based in Mountain View, CA, USA; Cambridge, MA, USA; New York, NY, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA.

Compensation:

$262,000-$365,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Advocate the long-term technical strategy for UI architecture and interaction design.
• Architect engineering systems and frameworks to ensure flagship quality.
• Partner with Directors and Vice Presidents to elevate app craft.
• Influence technical roadmaps across partner teams for a cohesive user experience.
• Mentor Principal and executive engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience programming in C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
• 10 years of experience with iOS application development.
• Experience with user interface design using UIKit or SwiftUI.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle in a production environment.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis.
• Experience with iOS concurrency systems and managing complex multithreaded code.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.
