Senior Staff Engineer, Google Cloud Storage (Mandarin, English)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive the technical roadmap for the AI/ML storage client portfolio.
• Lead the architecture of integrated storage solutions and analyze performance bottlenecks.
• Act as the architectural bridge between Google Cloud Storage and other core engineering.
• Mentor executive engineers and elevate the technical bar for the storage group.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the requirements of AI/ML users.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture of software products.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Software development experience in C++ or Python.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with storage technologies.
