This role is based in Warsaw, Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Grow Poland sites through talent recruitment, evolving sites and space, fostering Google and Pixel culture.
- Set and communicate team priorities that support the broader organization's goals.
- Develop the long-term technical goal and roadmap.
- Collaborate with leads to ensure high-quality product delivery.
- Lead the expansion of new Pixel Software teams in Poland.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development.
- 5 years in a technical leadership role.
- 5 years in a people management role.
- Experience with organizational strategy and development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in matrixed organizations.
- Development of Android BSP, Linux device drivers, or kernel modules.
- Embedded development experience or passion for consumer-facing hardware.
