Senior Software Engineering Manager, Search AI Quality and Protections

Compensation:
$262,000-$365,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Set and communicate team priorities that align with broader organizational goals.
- Ensure Search experiences are state-of-the-art in trustworthiness and safety.
- Manage a team of over 20 engineers, providing technical direction and coaching.
- Collaborate with partner teams on modeling, infrastructure, and evaluation needs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of software development experience.
- 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Experience in AI/ML quality evaluation and improvement.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience managing high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with Large Language Model capabilities.
