Compensation:

$262,000-$365,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Set and communicate team priorities that align with broader organizational goals.
  • Ensure Search experiences are state-of-the-art in trustworthiness and safety.
  • Manage a team of over 20 engineers, providing technical direction and coaching.
  • Collaborate with partner teams on modeling, infrastructure, and evaluation needs.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of software development experience.
  • 5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience in AI/ML quality evaluation and improvement.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with Large Language Model capabilities.
