Senior Software Engineer, Persistent Disk (English, Mandarin)

This role is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems for managing large-scale workloads on Google's block storage platform.
• Develop software in C++ for Persistent Disk.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders using Mandarin for technical collaboration.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience in software testing and maintenance.
• Experience in C++ and storage systems.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with big data frameworks and public cloud platforms.
