Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (Android), Home Experiences

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write and test product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to documentation and adapt content based on updates and feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in Kotlin and Java.
• 3 years of experience with Android application development.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience developing high-quality, high-performance consumer applications.
• Proficiency in modern Android development techniques, including Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Dependency Injection.
