Senior Software Engineer, Launch Intelligence, DeepMind

This role is based in Mountain View, CA, USA.

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineering, product, and research teams to develop AI capabilities.
• Create systems for agent testing using 2D and 3D games.
• Develop test problems within physics simulators and build competitive agent leaderboards.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with ML frameworks like JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

Preferred qualifications:

• Full-stack engineering experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React).
• Experience in delivering AI features to large user bases.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and C++.
