Senior Software Engineer, Jetpack Compose

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to brainstorming new features for Jetpack Compose.
• Build functionality in Jetpack Compose and Architecture Components.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Work on API design with team input.
• Enhance libraries for Android developers.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of software development experience with Kotlin or Java.
• 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
• 5 years of Android application development experience.
• 3 years of software design and architecture experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• 3 years working on cross-functional projects.
