Senior Software Engineer, Google Home Platform

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$166,000-$244,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and improve on-device capabilities for Google Home Platform.
• Unify and scale the GHP platform across various operating systems.
• Develop infrastructure for new use cases such as home automation.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• Experience in Consumer Electronics device software.
• Proficiency in on-device software development using C++/Java/Kotlin.
