Senior Software Engineer, Google Cloud Business Platform

This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver major components within the ordering platform.
• Solve complex technical problems and manage ambiguities in requirements or system design.
• Collaborate with peer teams and external stakeholders for integrated solutions.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers in technical development and design decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with full stack development.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience defining and building core platform APIs.
• Deep understanding of complex distributed systems and cloud computing platforms.
