This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Design, develop, and maintain services across the full-stack including back-ends (e.g., Java), Android (e.g., Kotlin, Java), and iOS (e.g., ObjC).
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience in distributed systems, back-end services, iOS/Android/Web development, data engineering, or machine learning.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience in developing accessible technologies.
