Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack, Public Sector

This role is based in Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$166,000-$244,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
  • Work with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distributed Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points and propose solutions and improvements.
  • Participate in and lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
  • Articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 5 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
  • Experience in languages such as Java, C++, Go, Python, or full-stack development.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing (NLP).
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
