This role is based in Mountain View, CA or Boulder, CO.
Compensation:
$166,000-$244,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable front-end and back-end services using Angular, React, and Kotlin.
- Collaborate with research teams to apply Large Language Model and multi-modal techniques.
- Lead the design and implementation of applications that understand user intent.
- Manage data storage and retrieval through spanner integration.
- Define APIs and iterate on projects within Google Labs.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in TypeScript and Kotlin.
- 3 years of experience designing and launching scalable front-end applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with WebGL or similar web-based 3D graphics APIs.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React.
