Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Drive projects end-to-end that improve systems and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-platform teams to advance the roadmap.
  • Evolve and maintain infrastructure and APIs for Google Photos.
  • Ensure compatibility and functionality of media integrations with OEMs.
  • Promote adoption of framework changes across various engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of software development experience in Java or Kotlin.
  • 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
  • 3 years of experience in Android application development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience in performance analysis and debugging.
  • 1 year in a technical leadership role.
