Senior Software Engineer, Android Core Networking

This role is based in Tokyo, Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Make networking faster by integrating high-level protocols with lower levels of the stack.
• Implement networking technologies such as DNS-over-HTTPS and IPsec.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• Experience with networking code.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in a related field.
• Technical leadership experience.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and the Linux kernel.

Tech stack:

Java, C++, Rust, BPF, Kotlin.
