Senior Program Manager, Data Center Construction

This role is based in Ohio, USA, with a requirement for onsite work 5 days a week.

Compensation:

$189,000-$274,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
• Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
• Gather internal requirements and deliver solutions that satisfy customer needs.
• Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment.
• Resolve critical issues within the matrix organization while adhering to project timelines and costs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program or project management.
• 8 years of experience with technical teams managing project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or facilities.
• 8 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber, server equipment, systems, and infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management or related technical field.
• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and knowledge of standard design and construction practices.
• Knowledge of safety management best practices.
