Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, the team is responsible for ensuring that Search delivers on its goals of latency, capacity, and reliability.

To do that, we need to solve complex engineering challenges and expand our infrastructure, while maintaining a universally accessible and useful experience that people around the world rely on. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the use of AI for automation.
  • Experience in navigating product and technology trade-offs.
  • Experience leading products while understanding the end user habits.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with nuances of managing high traffic, serving binaries, and making product fundamentals.
  • Experience working with technical product leaders and senior engineers, with the ability to influence resourcing, tech, and product decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define ideas and execute key goals for search serving binaries and ML infrastructure in collaboration with engineering leadership.
  • Meet the high-compute demands of next-generation AI features.
  • Drive full automation of search binary operations using AI to minimize manual toil.
  • Anticipate future infrastructure needs and manage cross-functional partnerships to build a resilient, future-proof search stack.
  • Build knowledge to bridge the gap between user-centric feature teams and infrastructure reliability.
