Compensation:

$159,000-$231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design strategy for youth privacy initiatives across YouTube.
  • Create high-fidelity user flows, wireframes, and prototypes for mobile, tablet, and web platforms.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Legal teams to simplify regulatory requirements into user-friendly interfaces.
  • Advocate for user needs based on research and data.
  • Influence project teams and executive leadership on design rationale.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product or UX design.
  • 3 years of experience in visual design.
  • Experience with design systems and cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a complex organization.
  • 2 years of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience with prototyping and content strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory design considerations.
