This role is based in San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA.

Compensation:

$159,000-$231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Drive XR platform UX capabilities for camera and microphone systems.
  • Lead discovery and ideation for XR-specific privacy indicators.
  • Align design strategies with Product, Engineering, and Privacy/Legal teams.
  • Influence long-term product excellence using data-informed decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience.
  • Experience working with Android and privacy design patterns.
  • Portfolio or relevant links to work required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • 3 years in a complex, cross-functional organization.
  • Experience leading design projects and in the XR space.
  • Excellent communication skills across various audiences.
