Senior Engineering Manager, Virtual Machine Runtime and Management

Compensation:

$262000 - $365000/year + 25% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and engineering managers.
  • Define the technical roadmap and strategy for the virtualization layer of the DSC product line.
  • Guide the team in integrating AI into their daily routines.
  • Work closely with DSC operators and other engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Ensure tools and applications are robust, scalable, and performant.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience programming in C++.
  • 7 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • 5 years of experience in a people management role.
  • 4 years of experience managing engineering organizations across multi-team infrastructure dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 4 years of experience architecting platforms for disconnected or edge environments.
