Compensation:

$262,000-$369,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering and management leadership for Slicer.
  • Identify and solve broad tests impacting sharding and load-balancing.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve Slicer and its infrastructure.
  • Drive technical goals, strategy, and roadmap for Slicer.
  • Work with customer teams to understand requirements for sliced services.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in architecting and integrating applications.
  • 5 years of people management experience.
  • Experience in designing distributed systems and microservices.
  • Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in setting technical direction and influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems and debugging production issues.
