Senior Engineering Manager, Slicer

Compensation:
$262,000-$369,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering and management leadership for Slicer.
- Identify and solve broad tests impacting sharding and load-balancing.
- Collaborate with team members to improve Slicer and its infrastructure.
- Drive technical goals, strategy, and roadmap for Slicer.
- Work with customer teams to understand requirements for sliced services.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of experience in architecting and integrating applications.
- 5 years of people management experience.
- Experience in designing distributed systems and microservices.
- Proficiency in Java or other object-oriented languages.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in setting technical direction and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and debugging production issues.
