Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a team manager.
  • Experience with ML algorithms and tools (e.g., TensorFlow), artificial intelligence, deep learning, natural language processing or other ML discipline.
  • Experience building infrastructure for models, diagnosis failures and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute on the local GCSFuse team's main charter for AI/ML storage solutions, focus on AI/ML solutions, GCSFuse, FusionFS, Observability and Debuggability, benchmarking, performance investigation and storage optimizations and client side products.
  • Develop and enhance AI/ML client side solutions for storage.
  • Lead the team to design, develop and tune benchmarks for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Storage systems with the goal to make GCP Storage the best for AI/ML workloads.
  • Assist key customers in on boarding their AI/ML workloads onto GCP storage.
