Senior Data Scientist, Product, Google Photos

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze user trends utilizing tools like SQL, R, and Python to solve business problems.
• Build new processes and components to address future issues.
• Define and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product improvement.
• Identify growth opportunities through analysis and insights.
• Collaborate across teams to align resources and direction.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
• 8 years of experience in analytics or 5 years with a Master's degree.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers.
• Excellent programming skills in Python/R.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
