This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000 per year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement creative features for the Android app.
  • Mentor team members and promote sustainable engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with PM, UX, and engineering leads to enhance user experience.
  • Ensure scalability and reliability of the Android codebase.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the photo experience through prototypes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of software development experience, including 3 years in Android development using Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with large-scale application design and architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Building high-performance consumer applications.
  • Experience in graphics or photo editing systems.
