This role is based in Austin, TX or Kirkland, WA, with responsibilities including leading the strategy and direction for identifying risks and threats in the evolving AI landscape.
Compensation:
$207,000-$300,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team's strategy, research, and direction to identify risks and threats.
- Provide technical leadership for scalable anti-abuse defenses.
- Engage with various teams to deploy mitigation processes for risks with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Direct investigations and responses for high-severity AI abuse incidents.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
- 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in applied vulnerability research and threat modeling.
- Understanding of generative AI technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
