$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
About the job:
As part of YouTube Data Science, you will influence product and engineering leadership, advising on strategy, metrics, and product changes.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to clarify business questions and translate them into analysis.
- Design and evaluate mathematical models to solve defined problems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to create new metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
- Gather and validate data across sources for analysis.
- Support launch decisions through experimental design.
Minimum qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative field.
- 5 years of experience in analytics or 3 years with a PhD.
- Experience with forecasting/time series.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in analytics or 6 years with a PhD.
- Experience in the gaming or XR industry.
- Experience with feed-based applications and user funnels.
