$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As part of YouTube Data Science, you will influence product and engineering leadership, advising on strategy, metrics, and product changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify business questions and translate them into analysis.
  • Design and evaluate mathematical models to solve defined problems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to create new metrics and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Gather and validate data across sources for analysis.
  • Support launch decisions through experimental design.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • 5 years of experience in analytics or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Experience with forecasting/time series.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in analytics or 6 years with a PhD.
  • Experience in the gaming or XR industry.
  • Experience with feed-based applications and user funnels.
