Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

The Google Cloud Gusto AI Data Science Research team develops innovative, data-driven solutions to today’s most challenging cybersecurity problems. In this role, you will apply your expertise in machine learning, statistics, and Generative AI to protect billions of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore research areas at the intersection of cybersecurity and machine learning.
  • Drive the development of new models and analytic products.
  • Develop models and analytics, moving from proof of concept to minimum viable product.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable data pipelines and deploy models.
  • Communicate research results through documentation and presentations.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience using analytics to solve problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
  • Experience with unsupervised, semi-supervised, and supervised machine learning techniques.
  • Ability to evaluate and improve machine learning models.
