$147,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a Data Scientist working on Ads Insights and Measurement, you will develop, evaluate and improve Google's advertising products including Search, Display, Apps, TV, and Video (YouTube). You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to translate new science into deployed products at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and evaluate custom data infrastructure or existing data models.
  • Shape and support new data-driven advertising and marketing products.
  • Define relevant questions about advertising effectiveness and develop quantitative methods to answer those questions.
  • Solve complex analysis problems with data sets and conduct analyses including data gathering and exploratory data analysis.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in analytics and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Experience with advanced optimization techniques and high dimensional statistics.
