This role is based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Localize global initiatives, identify promising grantees, and build partnerships to address critical needs in Asia-Pacific (APAC).
- Manage initiatives to support social impact organizations leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) in key areas such as Health, Education, and Agriculture.
- Ensure operational excellence by managing budgets, agreements, and vendor relationships while evaluating program effectiveness.
- Advise Google executives on philanthropic investments in areas like AI for social good, digital skilling, and online safety.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and the global Applied Sciences Grantmaking team to align strategy and maximize impact in APAC.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management, strategy consulting, or philanthropy with a focus on the APAC region.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with the APAC region's social, economic, and regulatory environment.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple grants and ensure compliance with goals and operational standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
