Program Manager, Finance Solutions and Transformation, Record to Report

Compensation:

$165,000-$239,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

Google’s Finance team is on a transformational journey to build standard, automated, AI-enabled processes. The Senior Program Manager will bridge the gap between strategic goals and execution, managing project lifecycles and guiding decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex, cross-functional transformation projects from inception to close.
• Implement governance structures through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Document workflows, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Build strong relationships across functions and influence decision-making at the executive level.
• Mentor junior program managers and lead workstreams.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in management consulting or project management.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing process improvements.
• Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, PMP).
• Advanced degree or specialized training in Finance.
• Experience with AI and automation technologies in finance.
• Knowledge of standard finance systems (e.g., SAP, BlackLine).
